Quite cathartic to listen to this song 100 times in a row after dealing with nimrods all day.
My objection to the mandate is not that it requires people to purchase insurance, but that it specifies they buy it from investor-owned companies, whose practices have done much to make our health care system the “unjust and expensive shambles” Dworkin accurately describes it as being. No one should be required to enter this treacherous market; it is not the same as paying for publicly administered services, like Medicare or police and fire protection.

Which is cheaper? San José or Harvard?
With states slashing higher education funding across the country, state universities are becoming less and less affordable.
The result: for middle-income families, private universities like Harvard are cheaper options than public universities like San José State.

The sudden volley of rifle fire from National Guard troops that killed four Kent State students and wounded ten others last week echoed even more loudly than it might have at one of the capitals of campus protest such as Berkeley or Columbia. The bloody incident shocked and further divided a nation already riven by dissent over the war in Indochina. More than that, the shots fired at Kent State were taken by some as a warning that the U.S. might be edging toward the brink of warfare of sorts on the home front.
